These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the MePay Card, MePay account, and all related services provided by Me Pay LTD (referred to as “we,” “our,” “us,” or “Me Pay LTD”). By using the MePay Card and related services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1. DEFINITIONS

1.1 “Card” refers to the MePay physical or virtual card issued to you by Me Pay LTD. 1.2 “Account” refers to the MePay account registered in your name. 1.3 “You” or “User” refers to the person who has registered for a MePay account and uses the Card. 1.4 “Bank” refers to the financial institution that holds the funds and processes transactions on behalf of Me Pay LTD. 1.5 “Company” refers to Me Pay LTD, a company registered in the Canada with Incorporation Number BC1409080 and FINTRAC registration number M23388591, operating under the MePay brand.

2. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

2.1 By using your MePay Card and related services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

3. CARD ISSUANCE AND ACTIVATION

3.1 Me Pay LTD will issue you a MePay Card upon successful registration and approval of your MePay account. 3.2 You must activate your MePay Card before use by following the instructions provided by Me Pay LTD. 3.3 Your Card is non-transferable and must be used exclusively by you.

4. CARD USAGE

4.1 You can use your MePay Card for online and in-store purchases wherever Visa/Mastercard is accepted. 4.2 The Card is subject to spending limits, which may vary based on your account status and verification level. 4.3 You are responsible for ensuring that you have sufficient funds in your MePay account before making any transactions.

5. FEES AND CHARGES

5.1 Me Pay LTD may charge fees for the issuance, replacement, and use of your MePay Card, as detailed in the fee schedule provided on our website. 5.2 You agree to pay all applicable fees associated with the use of the MePay Card and related services. 5.3 Me Pay LTD reserves the right to revise the fee structure, with reasonable notice provided to you via email or through our platform.

6. ACCOUNT SECURITY

6.1 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your MePay account credentials, including your PIN, password, and any other security information. 6.2 In the event of unauthorized access or if you suspect that your account information has been compromised, you must notify Me Pay LTD immediately. 6.3 Me Pay LTD employs industry-standard security measures, including Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), to protect your account and transactions.

7. TRANSACTION MONITORING AND AUTHORIZATION

7.1 Me Pay LTD monitors transactions for suspicious activities and reserves the right to decline any transaction that appears fraudulent or unauthorized. 7.2 You may be required to verify certain transactions before they are processed. 7.3 Me Pay LTD may suspend your account if unauthorized transactions are detected, pending further investigation.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

8.1 Me Pay LTD and its banking partners are not liable for any losses resulting from unauthorized transactions or fraud, except where such losses are proven to be due to Me Pay LTD’s or the bank’s negligence. 8.2 In the event of any unauthorized transactions, you will bear full responsibility unless it is established that the transaction was caused by an error or negligence on the part of Me Pay LTD or the bank.

9. CARD EXPIRATION AND RENEWAL

9.1 Your MePay physical card is valid for 5 years and can be renewed upon expiration, with the same card number. 9.2 Virtual cards are issued with a validity of 1 or 3 years. Upon expiration, a new card with a different number must be purchased.

10. ACCOUNT TERMINATION

10.1 Me Pay LTD reserves the right to terminate your MePay account and deactivate your Card at any time, with or without cause, and with reasonable notice to you. 10.2 Upon termination, any remaining balance in your account will be refunded to you, minus applicable fees.

11. USER RESPONSIBILITY

11.1 You agree to use the MePay Card and services in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. 11.2 You are responsible for all activities conducted through your MePay account, including transactions made using your Card. 11.3 You agree to bear all risks associated with unauthorized transactions resulting from your failure to secure your account information.

12. REGULATORY COMPLIANCE

12.1 Me Pay LTD, the company behind MePay, is a registered entity in Canda under Incorporation Number BC1409080 12.2 Me Pay LTD operates under a Money Services Business (MSB) license issued by FINTRAC (Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Centre of Canada) with registration number M23388591, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.

13. AMENDMENTS

13.1 Me Pay LTD reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Notice of any changes will be provided to you through email or our platform. 13.2 Continued use of the MePay Card and services after such changes constitute your acceptance of the new Terms and Conditions.

14. GOVERNING LAW

14.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Me Pay LTD operates. 14.2 Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.
